  17. It doesn't have to be optimized for 060 to get a significant speedup.
  18. Average programs run about 3-4 times as fast on a 060/50 than on
  19. a 040/25, that's still about twice the speed of a 040/40.

  21. Saying this, one "optimization" has to be done. The code must not
  22. execute instructions that have to be emulated. But that's more or
  23. less true if you have code that is meant for 040.
